The Neumann KH 120-A Studio Monitor combines a 1" titanium fabric dome tweeter powered by 50 W RMS (80 W peak) of analog amplification with a 5.25" long throw composite sandwich cone bass driver powered by 50 W RMS 80 W peak) analog amplification with dual front panel bass ports. The two speaker drivers are mounted in an elliptical mathematically modeled dispersion waveguide for smoother off-axis response and a more forgiving sound signature in different acoustical environments.The front panel is made from one piece without discontinuities to reduce diffraction with protective metal grills and the cabinet is made of magnetically shielded aluminum to reduce resonances, improve heat dissipation, and extend the operating lifetime of the unit. The KH 420 is a three-way tri-amplified monitor with thermally protected Class AB amplifiers (330 W and two times 140 W). Just like the drivers, its Mathematically Modeled Dispersion™ (MMD™) waveguide is engineered for optimum precision. The gray Neumann KH 80 DSP is a 2-way active studio monitor well suited for near-field monitoring and multichannel setups in music studios, broadcast centers and vans, as well as home studios and desktop audio applications. The KH 80 utilizes two amplifiers (120W and 70W) to power the 4" woofer and 1" tweeter respectively, an onboard DSP engine, a Mathematically Modeled Dispersion waveguide (MMD), an analog input, and an extensive range of optional mounting hardware. The DSP function is accessed via a standard IP network connection that allows the monitoring system to be controlled using the Neumann.Control app, which runs on a Windows/Mac computer or iOS/Android tablet. The KH 870 Dual 10" Active Studio Subwoofer from Neumann is a professional-grade subwoofer, ideal for tracking, mixing, and mastering applications in music, broadcast, and post production facilities. The sub has a 7.1 HD Bass Manager that is compatible with all standard consumer formats from mono all the way up to more recent 7.1 high-def systems. The subwoofer supports 8 channels of analog audio via XLR connectors for wide compatibility and flexibility in modern studios. You can also add an optional 24-bit/192kHz digital input card to add support for 8 digital channels.
