Description

The white KH 120 A from Neumann is a two-way active studio monitor speaker that packs the company’s decades of experience into a compact design, and is ideal for use as a near field monitor or as rear monitors in a surround system. The speaker features a 5.25″ composite sandwich cone woofer and a 1″ titanium fabric dome tweeter that together provide clear, natural audio with a wide frequency response. Large ports on the cabinet help to extend bass response, while an elliptical MMD waveguide on the tweeter provides a wide sweet spot.

The cabinet is made from durable aluminum and its non-parallel walls reduce internal standing waves, while the single-piece front panel reduces diffraction and provides a smoother frequency response. A robust metal grille protects the speaker elements from damage. The enclosure is also magnetically shielded for use near video monitors and other electronics. An XLR input offers wide compatibility with professional audio systems and devices.

Acoustic controls allow for adjusting the bass, low-mid, and treble frequencies when needing to optimize the speaker’s performance in various environments. Analog amplifiers provide a combined peak power of 160 watts, delivering a strong performance with ample headroom and excellent transient response. The speaker has integrated mounting points for versatile installation and features a universal power supply for convenient international use.
