Each of its four speakers has been custom-built to evoke the tone of the coveted speakers found in early Marshall cabinets, which could only handle 20W. However, the limited power-handling capacity poses a problem in compatibility when used with a powerful amplifier. Seeking a solution, BOSS engineers were able to develop a new 12" speaker capable of producing those acclaimed tones while handling 80W of power, thus enabling 320W of power handling in total for the cabinet.
