Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS20 Electric Guitar – Sunset Burst

The Yamaha Revstar has become a true icon thanks to its unique design and diverse tonal capabilities. Inspired by artists like Chris Buck, Matteo Mancuso, and Alicia Rei Kim, the Revstar balances Japanese craftsmanship with modern features. The Standard series offers humbuckers or P-90s, proprietary Yamaha pickup switching, and chambered body construction for enhanced resonance and lighter weight. Carbon fiber reinforcement in the neck improves stability and supports tonal resonance.

The RSS20 model includes a 5-way blade switch and a Focus Switch on the tone knob. Between positions 2 and 4, the pickups are partially out-of-phase to achieve single-coil-like tones without hum. The Focus Switch adds high-cut frequencies and a midrange boost, allowing lead parts to stand out without harshness. With six Café Racer inspired finishes, this guitar provides both visual flair and sonic versatility.
