The Soundcraft GB4 32-Channel Live Console Series is engineered to deliver the audio fidelity and mixing versatility required in both front-of-house (FOH) and monitor mixing applications, making it suitable for large or small venues. With a wide range of configurations, the GB4 is available in frames with 12, 16, 24, 32, or 40 channels, offering flexibility to meet the specific needs of live sound professionals.

This model features 32 mono input channels, each equipped with Soundcraft’s renowned GB30 microphone preamps and a 4-band GB30 EQ, delivering ultra-low noise and high gain, resulting in exceptional audio performance. In addition, 4 stereo inputs are available (ST1 – ST4), providing both left/right stereo line-level inputs and 3-pin XLR microphone inputs for capturing vocals, instruments, and ambient sounds in stereo.

The GB4 console also includes 4 subgroup outputs for routing to external recorders, monitors, or other devices. One of its most notable features is the matrix mixer, which enhances routing flexibility, allowing you to create customized mixes with ease. Additionally, the integrated meter bridge offers precise metering of both input and output levels for accurate monitoring of your sound.

Other essential features include 8 auxiliary sends, direct outputs on all mono channels for easy routing to external recorders and mixers, and 4 mute groups that allow you to simultaneously mute several channels. This model is designed for venues such as churches, performance venues, or small touring sound systems, where reliability and high performance are paramount.

Designed by Graham Blyth for Soundcraft’s 30th anniversary, the GB4 continues the legacy of high-quality engineering and design that Soundcraft is known for. The rugged steel chassis and individual vertically-mounted input modules ensure durability and reliability, even in the most demanding conditions.
