Housed in a compact 4U rack-mountable enclosure, the stagebox provides an impressive I/O density, featuring a standard setup of 32 mic/line inputs, 8 line outputs, and 8 channels of AES/EBU digital outputs. It also includes two expansion slots that accommodate Studer D21m I/O cards, allowing users to integrate a wide variety of digital audio formats such as CobraNet, AVIOM A-Net16, Ethersound, ADAT, RockNet, and MADI recording interfaces.

Thanks to its modular architecture, the Compact Stagebox is also flexible in configuration. Users have the option to replace the standard output module with an additional 16 mic/line input XLR module, offering up to 48 inputs. Output connectivity can still be maintained via the D21m expansion slots using D-Type connectors.
