The NE-10 Noise Eater from Roland is a sound isolation board designed specifically for use with V-Drums kick pads/pedals and hi-hat control pedals. Electronic drums can be played without external sound using a pair of headphones. But the act of pressing a pedal can still cause unwanted disturbance.
The low-profile board features multiple dome-shaped rubber dampers that dramatically reduce the transfer of noises and vibrations through the floor caused by the act of playing. This allows users in multi-level buildings to freely enjoy triggering their V-Drums without disturbing people in rooms or dwellings below.
