The REKKORD RCM efficiently removes dirt from records in just two rotations thanks to its highly powerful vacuum motor. Optimal results are achieved by rotating the record forward and then backward. To ensure thorough cleaning, a suitable cleaning fluid is required. Using alcoholic cleaning fluids can damage the fine musical details in the grooves, which is why we opt for an eco-friendly, non-alcoholic cleaning solution. The aluminum surface can withstand spills of cleaning fluid without affecting the chassis. A heavy puck is used to stabilize the record during cleaning, enabling the vacuum arm and motor to work consistently across the entire record surface. Additionally, it protects the record label from damage caused by the cleaning fluid. A water-resistant microporous rubber layer shields the platter from water absorption, keeping the underside of the record clean after each cleaning cycle. The sturdy chip-lathed vacuum arm offers mechanical stability and concentrates all suction power directly onto the record surface without causing any harm. Together with self-adhesive arm strips, this ensures your records are perfectly cleaned. The large internal container (2 liters) collects used fluid and can be effortlessly emptied. When using the provided cleaning solution, most of the fluid will evaporate in the container, meaning it will rarely need to be emptied even after cleaning thousands of records.
