The Eversolo DMP-A8 is a high-resolution digital music streamer, preamp, and DAC in one compact unit — designed for serious home and studio audio systems. It features a 6″ LCD touchscreen for intuitive control and a refined user interface for browsing local and network libraries.
Inside, it uses dual AKM DACs (AK4191EQ + AK4499EX) and an XMOS XU316 processor to support native decoding of PCM up to 768 kHz / 32-bit and DSD up to DSD512. The power supply is a dual-stage design (linear + digital), minimizing noise and jitter for clean, high-fidelity audio output.
The unit includes a bottom-mounted M.2 NVMe SSD slot (supports up to 4 TB), as well as 64 GB of internal eMMC storage. Connectivity options are very flexible: it has USB-B, 2 × optical, 2 × coaxial, HDMI-ARC for digital I/O; and analog XLR (balanced) and RCA (unbalanced) outputs. It also supports Bluetooth 5.0 (SBC / AAC / aptX / aptX HD / aptX LL / LDAC), Wi-Fi (dual-band), and Ethernet for network streaming.
On the software side, the DMP-A8 supports popular services such as TIDAL, Qobuz, HiResAudio, Deezer, Amazon Music, and more. Protocols include AirPlay, DLNA, and TIDAL Connect. There’s also a built-in DSP for volume (R2R-based), PEQ, FIR filtering, loudness, compressor, and delay — ideal for tuning to your listening setup.
