The VIO S118R by dBTechnologies is a high-performance active bass reflex subwoofer, designed to deliver deep, controlled low frequencies with exceptional flexibility. It features a 1600W RMS Digipro G4® Class D amplifier with Power Factor Correction (PFC) and Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS), ensuring consistent performance even under fluctuating power conditions.
This subwoofer comes with RDNet remote control and monitoring capabilities via Aurora Net, with the option to integrate into a Dante™ digital audio network using an expansion card. The real-time system test allows users to check electronics and transducers both remotely and directly on the amplifier module.
For precise time alignment, the VIO S118R includes a delay module, enabling up to 9.9 ms of delay in 0.1 ms steps via onboard rotary control and up to 62 ms via RDNet. The cardioid mode switch optimizes rear-side sound cancellation, ensuring clean low-end reproduction even in inverted stack cardioid configurations.
The subwoofer’s housing is built from multiplex plywood with a durable Polyurea coating, making it rugged and road-ready. Integrated handles and an M20 pole mount allow for easy stacking and system integration.
With its high SPL (139 dB), flexible connectivity, and intelligent DSP control, the VIO S118R is an ideal subwoofer solution for professional touring, live events, and fixed installations requiring powerful and precise bass reinforcement.
