The DVA K5 continues that legacy as a 3-way active line array module, combining refined engineering with modern DSP control and premium neodymium components to deliver exceptional sound quality in a compact footprint.
At its core lies a 500W RMS Digipro® G3 Class-D amplifier, capable of producing up to 129 dB SPL per unit. The loudspeaker configuration includes two 1″ HF drivers, a 6.5″ neodymium midrange, and an 8″ neodymium woofer, offering precise sound reproduction across a 70 Hz – 19 kHz frequency range.
The integrated 56-bit DSP enables high-precision tuning through a user-friendly interface featuring dual rotary encoders. One controls LF coupling correction, while the other adjusts MF/HF compensation, accounting for air absorption and vertical throw distance—essential tools for professional array optimization.
Built to withstand the rigors of touring, the DVA K5 is housed in a polypropylene enclosure reinforced with internal anti-vibration metal bracing, minimizing resonance and enhancing acoustical integrity. It also includes integrated rigging hardware, allowing seamless array construction, and a newly designed front grille with an integrated rain cover for outdoor reliability.
Despite its rugged build and advanced tech, the DVA K5 remains lightweight at just 14.2 kg (31.3 lbs), offering an exceptional performance-to-weight ratio.
