The DAS Audio Action-508A is a compact, active 2-way loudspeaker designed for versatile audio applications. It features a 360W RMS (720W peak) Class-D amplifier driving an 8" woofer and a 1.5" compression driver, delivering a maximum SPL of 122 dB. The speaker offers 90° x 60° rotatable coverage, making it suitable for various setups including front-of-house, stage monitors, and fixed installations. It includes a 3-input mixer with dual XLR/jack combo inputs and a 3.5mm mini jack, along with an XLR thru-output for daisy-chaining. The integrated DAScontrol™ DSP provides presets, EQ modes, delay, and gain control via a rear LCD screen. Constructed from birch plywood with a durable ISO-flex finish, it weighs 11.9 kg and is equipped with M8 rigging points for flexible mounting options.

And its rotatable horn with 90º x 60º dispersion means the enclosure can be used horizontally in a fixed installation, as a stage monitor or even as front fill.

In the ACTION-500 series we use the same birch plywood as our touring systems for a tight, natural warm sound found nowhere else on the market. The series’ full range of active tops is complete with two balanced XLR inputs for mic and line, an additional 3.5 mm mini jack input, and a powerCON connection.
