The Boss Synth SY-1000 is a guitar synth that offers you a massive array of tones. Utilizing 48 kHz / 32-Bit signal processing throughout its AD/DA path, the pedalboard gives you the ability to craft three custom instruments at once. Model electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, or create massive synth patches. Each instrument has two built-in, deeply customizable step sequencers for creating dynamic, moving, breathing parts.
If you purchase a separately availble Roland GK-compatible pickup, you can make use of the SY-1000’s 13-pin GK input to change your tuning on the fly, change patches on a per-string basis, and use all synth and modeling features. If not, plenty of synth, modeling, and other effects are accessible via the standard 1/4″ input. The SY-1000 gives you two sets of stereo outputs, a set of main outs, and a set of sub outputs. Individual outputs may be used as an independent mono outputs if desired.
The SY-1000 comes with a power adapter, so you can use it right out of the box.
