The Roland XI-DANTE is a Dante expansion interface card for Roland M-5000 Series live mixing consoles and the V-1200HD video switcher. It enables full-duplex, two-way communication on a maximum of 64 channels at 48 kHz / 24-bit or 32 channels at 96 kHz / 24-bit. The card features primary and secondary Dante ports to allow for redundancy or daisy-chained Dante-enabled devices.
The XI-DANTE is also equipped with a control port for connecting a computer with the Dante Controller app (free download available separately). The app allows you to manage your Dante network and perform tasks such as audio routing.
The unit comes with three ferrite cores that attache to each of the Ethernet cables connected to the ports to prevent electromagnetic noise.
