The Audio-Technica ATUC-IRDU is an infrared discussion unit designed for professional conferencing systems. It features a 3-pin XLRF-type input compatible with ATUC-M43H, ATUC-M58H, and ATUC-M32L microphones. The unit supports up to two users, each with individual access to the microphone via dual request-to-talk/mute buttons, indicator LEDs, and 3.5 mm headphone jacks with volume controls. Additional features include a channel/volume display, channel selection buttons, and a built-in speaker. Power options include one or two LI-240 lithium batteries for approximately 6.5 or 13 hours of use, or an AC adapter. The ATUC-IRDU is designed for tabletop or recessed mounting and operates within a frequency range of 200Hz to 5kHz.
