The CSX IRT4 10-Channel Infrared Near Field Transmitter from AKG transmits up to ten language channels designed for near field use, with a radiation angle of ±60° to cover the distance of up to 115'. Using PPM (Pulse Phase Modulation) technology, all LED´s cover the same area and distance, regardless the number of channels needed in an application. Hence, exact coverage is ensured even if channel needs change.
The CSX IRT4 can be cascaded almost without limit, due to a signal refresher built in into the transmitter, enabling coverage of very large areas. The transmitter's design eliminates the needs for cooling fans, which also eliminates noise.
