Simple to configure, this amplifier provides a DriveCore-based sound solution, which utilizes one small chip that significantly reduces the part count and increases reliability while still maintaining high performance. It provides amplification with a choice of low impedance, 70V or 100V outputs. The amp includes a rack mounting kit for installations to a cabinet, and a RJ45 connector for an optional remote volume control using JBL's CSR-V control module.

The CSA2120 2-Channel Installed Sound Power Amplifier from JBL features 120 watts of output per channel at 4 or 8 ohms and is designed for installed sound applications. Each of its two input channels has dual summing RCA inputs and a 3-pin detachable Euroblock input. Both channels also feature a selectable limiter and high-pass filter at 70Hz. The CSA2120 has a 4-pin Euroblock output connector for powering dual loudspeakers. The auto-standby mode disables the amplifier pulse width modulation generator when there is no signal detected.
The CSA2120 has both over-heat and low-voltage protection and can be rackmounted with the included rackmount kit. It has front-panel channel volume controls as well as clip, signal, and power LED indicators. The unit is powered by a switch-mode universal power supply.

Suitable for use in restaurants, theater lobbies, grocery stores, and other places requiring background music, the CST-2120 from JBL Commercial is a transformer module designed to provide impedance and voltage matching for the CSA-2120 amplifier, allowing it, in turn, to drive the 70V and 100V distributed-speaker systems commonly needed in most commercial venues. In other words, this transformer module allows amplifiers previously unable to provide 70V or 100V output capability to work with systems designed to operate at those voltages. It provides two channels for this purpose, each able to provide 120W per channel.
