The dbx 1215 is a dual-channel, 15-band 2/3 octave graphic equalizer. It was designed to meet the needs of the most demanding sound reinforcement environments, while offering the simplicity of straightforward controls.
The sliders of the 1215 are 45mm center-detent with two selectable boost/cut ranges for precise gain adjustments. The unit features high-pass filters with bypass, active balanced input and output connections, chassis/signal ground-lift capabilities for quick hum isolation and an internal power supply. Multiple input and output configurations are provided for ease of use. The XLR and 1/4" TRS connectors use active balanced, low-noise circuitry, with the addition of barrier strips.

The dbx 12 Series Equalizers were precision engineered to provide years of maintenance-free operation in any application. The magnetically isolated transformer, electronically balanced/unbalanced inputs and servo balanced/unbalanced outputs, RF-filtered inputs and outputs, and power-off hard-wire relay bypass with 2 second power up delay were steps our engineers took to ensure compatibility for all installations. Only the best components were utilized, yielding a 10Hz to 50kHz frequency response, greater than 90dB SNR (ref +4dBu), less than 0.005% THD +Noise (1kHz at +4dBu), and interchannel crosstalk of less than -80dB from 20Hz to 20kHz. All this attention to detail is contained in a 3U steel/aluminum chassis.

Housed in a convenient 500 series lunchbox-style chassis, the dbx 510 Subharmonic Synthesizer is designed to enhance the low end in live sound reinforcement applications, such as for mobile DJs, nightclubs, houses of worship, theaters, concert venues, broadcast, and more. It does this by synthesizing a waveform modeled bass note, exactly one octave below the bass signal of the original audio. In comparison to other forms of low frequency enhancement, this approach does not affect the equalization of the mid or high frequencies.

Drawing from the design of the dbx 902, the unit allows you to adjust the amount of de-essing to create crisp vocals.
The unit operates by examining the difference in level between high frequency and full-bandwidth portions of the signal. It allows de-essing of signals by as much as 60 dB. The unit features a frequency control with a range from 800 to 8,000 Hz with gain reduction metering and a de-essing amount range from 0 to 20 dB. For problematic situations that require the removal of a spurious frequency, each filter band may be independently set to "infinite notch" without affecting the operation of the other bands. The Zone Controllers offer extended utility to the DriveRack® and ZonePRO™ families. The nine Zone Controllers use analog DC voltage to provide logic control ranging from zone source selection, volume and muting, to program or scene selection and fire safety muting. Wired with readily available and affordable CAT5 cable with universally accepted RJ-45 connectors at distances up to 1000 ft, the ZC Zone Controllers offer simple yet elegant solutions to the contractor. The ZC-4 provides program change capability from contact closures for the DriveRack 220i and 260; it can also provide source selection, page steering, or scene selection for ZonePRO devices.
