Now, thanks to the CS-R5 control surface, you can experience this top-shelf performance with new levels of versatility and scalability. This super-compact 38-fader control surface boasts three easy-to-use touch-panel displays, along with a streamlined Selected Channel section for simple, intuitive operation. Custom Fader banks, User Defined keys, User Defined knobs, and Touch and Turn knobs give you plenty of hands-on control, while eight channels of analog I/O, dual Mini-YGDAI slots, eight channels of GPI I/O, and MIDI I/O ensure ample connectivity. You also get five USB ports, one of which can be used for direct two-track recording to a flash drive, and dual redundant power supplies that ensure rock-solid reliability. To top it off, the CS-R5 is incredibly ergonomic, offering optimum stage visibility from the engineer’s position. The CS-R5 is the core component of Yamaha’s RIVAGE PM system, which also includes a DSP engine and an I/O rack.
