The Tannoy CVS 801-BK is a professional 8-inch coaxial in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for commercial audio installations requiring high output and wide sound coverage. Engineered for reliability and consistent performance, the speaker features an 8-inch polypropylene low-frequency driver and a 1-inch ferrofluid-cooled soft dome tweeter, delivering balanced full-range audio suitable for music and voice applications.

Designed specifically for installed sound systems, the CVS 801 provides wide constant-directivity dispersion, allowing sound to be evenly distributed across large spaces such as retail stores, hotels, airports, restaurants, and conference rooms. With 90 W continuous power handling and up to 360 W peak, it delivers strong output while maintaining clarity.

The loudspeaker supports 70V/100V line distributed audio systems as well as 8-ohm low-impedance operation, making it flexible for both small and large multi-speaker installations. A low-insertion-loss transformer with selectable taps allows installers to easily configure power levels based on system requirements.
