The Tannoy CVS 801 is a professional 8-inch coaxial in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for commercial audio installations requiring high output and wide sound coverage. With 90 W continuous power handling and up to 360 W peak, it delivers strong output while maintaining clarity.

The loudspeaker supports 70V/100V line distributed audio systems as well as 8-ohm low-impedance operation, making it flexible for both small and large multi-speaker installations. A low-insertion-loss transformer with selectable taps allows installers to easily configure power levels based on system requirements.

Built for professional environments, the CVS 801 includes EN54-24 certification for fire detection and alarm systems, as well as UL 1480 and UL 2043 safety certifications, making it suitable for use in air-handling spaces and critical commercial installations.

With its durable back-can enclosure, powder-coated grille, and discreet white finish, the speaker blends seamlessly into ceilings while providing reliable long-term audio performance.
