The Tannoy CMS 603DC PI 6″ Full-Range Ceiling Loudspeaker with Dual Concentric Driver – Pre Install is a high-performance installation speaker engineered for professional audio systems in commercial and architectural environments. It features Tannoy’s renowned Dual Concentric driver technology with a 165 mm (6.5″) dual-concentric point-source unit that integrates the high- and low-frequency drivers at a single acoustic origin, delivering smooth, coherent sound and exceptional intelligibility across the listening area. Capable of up to 320 W peak power handling and up to 116 dB SPL, it supports both low-impedance 16 Ω systems and 70 V/100 V distributed audio lines via multiple transformer taps, making it versatile for foreground music, paging and voice-alarm applications. The pre-install version is supplied without a backcan, allowing it to be installed during building construction or renovation for a discreet finish and easy integration with ceiling infrastructure. A magnetically attached, paintable grille blends into any décor, while the self-aligning clamp system and included tile rails and mounting rings simplify flush-mount installation; compliance with UL-1480 and UL-2043 safety standards ensures suitability for general signaling and air-handling spaces.
