RCF MXR 4500/6 Rack Mount Amplified Master Unit

The MXR 4500/6 is the advanced master unit in the DXT 4000 Voice Alarm system, engineered for rack-mounted applications in small to medium-sized environments requiring EN 54 compliance. Delivering 500 W of total output through high-efficiency Class D+ amplifiers, this unit supports up to 6 independent speaker zones. It features a built-in DSP platform for precise audio tuning, improving both voice clarity and background music quality. Emergency messages can be stored on a monitored SD card, and a spare amplifier switching facility ensures system reliability. The integrated audio source is accessible via the front panel. The unit allows up to 8 devices to be connected in a MASTER-SLAVE configuration through its included IE 3008 board. Compatible with emergency paging consoles like BM 3804, BM 3804FM, ME 3801, and BE 3806 extensions, the MXR 4500/6 delivers robust, scalable performance for safety-critical applications. Designed for 4U rack installation, the system includes an EN 54-4 certified internal power supply and supports 48 V DC power backup.
