The MXR 4500/4 is a powerful master unit within the DXT 4000 Voice Alarm system, built for rack-mounted applications in small to medium-scale environments requiring EN 54-16 compliance. With 500 W total output and Class D+ amplification technology, it can manage up to 4 independent zones, ensuring clear and effective emergency communication. The unit includes an onboard DSP platform for precise environmental equalization and audio optimization, improving both speech intelligibility and music performance. Emergency messages can be stored and monitored via SD card, while a spare amplifier switching function provides added reliability. Integrated audio sources are accessible from the front panel, and up to 8 units can be linked in a MASTER-SLAVE setup via the built-in IE 3008 board. Compatible with microphone consoles such as BM 3804, BM 3804FM, ME 3801, and BE 3806 button extensions, the MXR 4500/4 is designed to deliver flexible and dependable voice alarm functionality. Its 4U rack-mountable design, EN 54-4 certified internal power supply, and 48 V DC backup capability make it an ideal choice for critical safety applications.
