The MXR 4500/2 is the master unit of the DXT 4000 Voice Alarm system, engineered for rack-mount installations in small to medium-sized environments requiring EN 54-16 certification. This robust unit delivers 500 W total output power through a Class D+ amplifier and supports up to 2 controlled zones. It includes a monitored SD card for emergency message playback, spare amplifier switching, and an integrated DSP for superior audio clarity and equalization. The built-in IE 3008 board allows for master-slave configuration, connecting up to 8 units. With EN 54-4 certified internal power supply and 48 V DC backup, this unit ensures high reliability. It can be paired with BM 3804, BM 3804FM, and ME 3801 consoles, as well as BE 3806 button extensions, to enable live announcements and emergency paging. Designed for 19″ rack mounting in a 4U space, the MXR 4500/2 is compact, durable, and ideal for critical communication applications.
