dBTechnologies KL-12 12″ Active Speaker Bluetooth

The KL 12 is a part of dBTechnologies’ KL Series—compact, powerful, and flexible active speakers crafted for demanding audio applications. Designed with a 12” woofer and a 1” compression driver (1.35” voice coil), KL 12 produces a commanding 127 dB SPL with smooth frequency response from 52 Hz to 18,000 Hz.

At its core is an efficient 800W amplifier combining Class D and Class AB technologies, managed by an advanced 20/56-bit DSP. The system utilizes linear phase FIR filters to ensure consistent, crystal-clear sound across a broad coverage area. Users can choose between four DSP presets—Playback, Flat, Bass Boost, and Wedge—to adapt the speaker’s output to various usage scenarios.

KL 12 features a practical 3-channel mixer:

• CH1: Combo XLR/6.3mm jack input with mic/line selector

• CH2: Balanced XLR and TRS input

• CH3: Bluetooth® for wireless audio streaming

An XLR-M output on the rear supports daisy-chaining to additional speakers or mixers. The selectable LINK/MIX switch lets users determine whether the output signal is taken pre- or post-mixing controls.

Its robust polypropylene housing sports a clean full-front grille and three integrated handles (two side, one top) for effortless transport. The cabinet’s smart design allows horizontal use as a stage monitor (with a 45° angle) and includes a 36mm pole mount with two tilt positions (0° and 7.5°), ideal for tripods or sub stacking.

Every KL 12 unit is packaged with a protective soft cover, complete with a handy pocket for cable storage—making it a reliable companion for performers, DJs, and event setups.
