Description

The VIO S218F by dBTechnologies is a premium flyable subwoofer designed to enhance low-frequency reproduction in large-scale VIO sound reinforcement systems. Featuring cutting-edge technology, it allows seamless integration with the VIO S218, enabling users to fly up to 14 cabinets with a single DRK-218F flybar. This flexibility makes it an ideal solution for touring applications requiring powerful and reliable bass reinforcement.

Built for demanding professional environments, the VIO S218F delivers an ultra-low-frequency response, reaching down to 28Hz with a maximum SPL of 143dB. Its cardioid preset mode optimizes sound output by minimizing unwanted rear-side emissions, making it highly efficient in gradient inverted stack configurations. Additionally, an intuitive cable management system ensures clean and organized setup, whether flown or ground-stacked.

For seamless operation, the VIO S218F includes a built-in dBTechnologies RD-Net card for real-time remote control via Aurora Net software. It also supports future upgrades with an optional Audinate Dante AoIP protocol. Advanced features such as Near Field Communication (NFC™) sensors and a high-brightness LED identification system help users efficiently monitor and manage their setup.

With its robust multiplex plywood housing and durable Polyurea coating, the VIO S218F is built for the rigors of touring. Its powerful 3200W RMS Class-D amplifier, intelligent power management, and advanced diagnostic system ensure long-term reliability and high-performance operation in any professional audio environment.
