The VIO C15 by dBTechnologies is a high-performance 2-way active cluster loudspeaker designed for scalable deployment in professional sound reinforcement applications. Whether used in horizontal or vertical line-source arrays, it delivers powerful and precise audio reproduction with exceptional flexibility. Equipped with a 15” neodymium LF driver and a 1.4” exit HF driver, the VIO C15 provides a full-bodied sound, making it ideal for large venues and demanding installations.
Powered by a 1600W RMS Class-D Digipro® G4 amplifier, the VIO C15 achieves an impressive 140dB SPL output. It features a built-in RDNet card for real-time monitoring and remote control via Aurora Net software, with optional Dante support for advanced networking. The speaker also incorporates an intelligent infrared positioning system, allowing cabinets to automatically recognize their configuration and adapt accordingly.
With a fixed 22.5° horizontal dispersion, the VIO C15 enables users to create scalable horizontal clusters—four units provide 90° coverage, while eight extend to 180°. Vertical coupling is also possible by inverting and stacking units, forming double-line clusters (up to 32 elements) with digitally steerable dispersion. Additionally, the VIO C15 supports constant curvature arrays of up to four modules for enhanced coverage control.
Designed for professional touring and installation use, the VIO C15 features a rugged multiplex plywood housing with a durable Polyurea coating. It includes an inclinometer, opto-isolated floating preamp, and intelligent power management via IPOS. A rain cover ensures protection in challenging environments, while quick-link rigging points facilitate fast and secure deployment.
