The VIO C12 by dBTechnologies is an innovative 2-way active cluster loudspeaker engineered for maximum flexibility in both touring and installed sound applications. Designed to form horizontal or vertical line-source arrays, it provides powerful and precise acoustic performance while maintaining a compact and efficient design. With a 12” neodymium LF driver and a 1.4” exit HF driver, the VIO C12 ensures clear and dynamic sound reproduction across a wide frequency range.
Equipped with a 1600W RMS Class-D Digipro® G4 amplifier, the VIO C12 delivers a remarkable 139dB SPL output, ensuring high-performance sound reinforcement in various venue sizes. Its integrated RDNet card allows real-time monitoring and remote control via Aurora Net software, with optional Dante AoIP support for future upgrades.
A key feature of the VIO C12 is its advanced scalability. Each unit has a fixed 22.5° horizontal coverage, allowing users to configure scalable clusters for wider dispersion. A four-cabinet configuration provides 90° horizontal coverage, while an eight-cabinet cluster extends to 180°. Thanks to an intelligent infrared positioning system, the speakers automatically recognize their configuration when linked, ensuring seamless integration. Additionally, VIO C12 can be vertically coupled by inverting a unit and stacking it atop another, forming up to 32-element double-line clusters with digitally steerable dispersion.
Built for professional applications, the VIO C12 features an inclinometer, opto-isolated floating preamp, and a rugged multiplex plywood housing with a durable Polyurea finish. It also includes a rain cover for all-weather reliability, quick-link rigging points for fast deployment, and an intuitive OLED user interface for on-board control.
