The DVA S2585N is a next-generation active cardioid subwoofer specifically engineered to control low-frequency dispersion and eliminate unwanted stage rumble. Designed for maximum directionality, this compact unit integrates two separate chambers—one with a forward-facing 18″ woofer, and another with a rear-facing 15″ woofer. This clever cardioid configuration ensures strong frontal bass projection while significantly attenuating rearward output, making it an excellent solution for stage monitoring and sound clarity in challenging acoustic spaces.

Driven by 2500W RMS of pure Digipro® G2 Class-D power and a 2.5 kW SMPS power supply, the S2585N offers thunderous low-frequency performance while maintaining high efficiency and low weight. The advanced 56-bit DSP and 24-bit/96kHz converters guarantee pristine signal processing, detailed transient response, and outstanding audio fidelity. Built-in limiter controls (RMS, peak, thermal), delay options, phase alignment (0°/180°), and a selectable crossover frequency between 75–120Hz offer a high level of system control and tuning flexibility.

With a frequency response of 35–120 Hz and a max SPL of 140 dB, the S2585N provides deep, tight bass that integrates seamlessly with mid/high units in both ground-stacked and flown arrays. The robust multiplex plywood cabinet features integrated SRK10 rigging hardware and optional accessories including a dolly, dust cover, and rain cover, making transportation and deployment a breeze. Three ergonomic handles per side and an M20 pole mount complete the system’s practical design.
