CSS-15C-VA is a full-range, EN54-24 certified ceiling speaker consisting of a 127 mm (5 inch) full-range dual-cone driver, torsion-mounted into an included easy-install blind-mount metal fire dome. The speaker is designed to provide clear and intelligible sound for applications requiring EN54 certification and/or BS5839 compliance. This loudspeaker is EN 54-24 Compliant for life safety applications.
The ceiling-mounted AIC25 loudspeaker is a two-way, active enclosure, powered by the included RAM2 power amplifier module.The loudspeaker is factory calibrated to give optimum performance with the provided RAM2 amplifier module marked with the same ID number. Genelec recommend the user doesn't mix and match these speakers and modules. The RAM2 amplifier module has a balanced, 10k ohm, female XLR input, an unbalanced 10k ohm RCA (phono) female input, and a balanced 10k ohm male XLR output to link to another RAM module. The 130mm LF driver provides 40W maximum output while the 19mm HF driver also provides 40W maximum output. A four-conductor cable is required to provide the two-way amplification from the RAM2 to the AIC25.The included 'Phoenix' connectors accept cable up to 6mm sq. cross sectional area. Remote speaker power on/off can be accessed separately by using pins 3 and 4. Bass tilt settings of -2dB, -4dB, or -6dB, bass roll-off and treble tilt settings can be set via the front panel of the RAM2 amplifier module. A green/yellow LED shows when the module is in normal operation or in standby mode. Frequency response: 70Hz to 18kHz. Maximum peak output: Over 110dB SPL at 1m.
