The unit features two stereo outputs with zone equalizers, active crossovers, and separate subwoofer outs. An additional music-only mono output is provided for telephone music-on-hold systems. Designed with a simple analog style control panel, a knob switches between audio from source 1, audio from source 2, and remote control of the mixer. The unit does not require a computer to operate. An included security plate can be installed over the front panel to prevent changes to the unit's controls once configured.
The mixer works with CSR remote controllers, allowing you to use a remote to select the source and adjust the volume of each zone. Additional output zones may be added to the system by connecting multiple CSM mixers together using a Cat5 cable plugged into the unit's RJ45 link ports.
