A different take on the single cutaway Eclipse design, the LTD Iron Cross is Metallica frontman James Hetfield’s signature guitar; loaded with his signature EMG JH active pickups to get his legendary monstrous tone, LTD locking tuners and Tonepros locking bridge and tailpiece for rock-solid tuning, and a maple top added to his much-preferred mahogany body. Other unique appointments include an Iron Cross inlay at the 12th fret, black stripes and Iron Cross fixture on the top, and two pre-installed toggle switches so you have the option of wiring it on either locations (upper bout or control area).
